New England Brown Bread Recipe

New England brown bread is an awesome accompaniment to meals like Boston Baked beans or to accompany any meal when a healthy brown bread is called for.  It’s wonderful with soups, stews or topped with Philadelphia cream cheese for a light lunch or snack.

 

This recipe is a steamed quick bread. It’s cooked stove top using two tin cans, sized anywhere from 13 ounces to 16 ounces.

Tasty Recipe for Easy Pumpernickel Bread

Pumpernickel bread is always a favourite among those who value healthy, artisan cooking. This recipe has the added benefit of being easy to make. It’s a quick bread, meaning it is not leavened with yeast.
